A broker who combines odd lots of securities from multiple buy or sell orders into round lots and executes transactions in those round lots.

Odd-ball
Loner, person or thing left out of the group.

Flotation
Flotation refers to the situation when a private limited company or new company becomes a public limited company by issuing shares to the general public. A company will issue a prospectus inviting shareholders to subscribe for shares, in the hope of raising large amounts of capital. Also referred to as "go public".

Round lot
A trading order typically of 100 shares of a stock or some multiple of 100.

Overallotment
More shares (or other instrument) has been alloted to buyers or investors (of an IPO, for example) than what is available.

Job Lot
A form of contract having a smaller unit of trading than is featured in a regular contract.
